Pastoral Council

The purpose of the Santa Cruz Pastoral Council is to help the entire parish reflect on its Strengths, Gifts, Opportunities, Needs, Goals, and Challenges. The hope and goal of the Council is to sharpen the vision of the parish and to increase the number of people involved in ministries and services. The Pastor consults, not because he wants to surrender responsibility for the parish, but because he wants to exercise it wisely. Canon Law provides for the establishment of Pastoral Councils.

Membership Requirements:

Selected by Discernment or Appointed by the Pastor
Must be Catholic and active members of the parish in good standing
Must serve three year term

Meeting Schedule:

Monthly (8-10 meetings per year)
