Covenant of Love Marriage Ministry

The Covenant of Love Marriage Ministry is a program unlike any other, giving married couples concrete ways to tap into the graces offered by God.

Covenant of Love doesn’t offer platitudes about marriage.  Participants benefit from educational and enrichment activities, along with practical ways to align minds, bodies, spirits, attitudes and actions to invigorate their marriages at all stages.

The Mission of Covenant of Love is:

• To live Christ –centered marriages;
• To become the “true” domestic Church by providing tools and information to help couples live out God’s plan for the Sacrament of Marriage;
• To create a vibrant and positive community of married couples.

What can you expect from your participation in Covenant of Love?  Couples find indescribable joy, deeper companionship, and a marriage fortified because Christ is at the center.

Covenant of Love Prayer Ministry – an integral part of the Covenant of Love program – consists of eight couples who are committed to praying for all marriages, especially those at Santa Cruz. Through prayer and weekly hours of adoration, these committed couples invite Jesus to protect and preserve the sacrament of marriage.

A Covenant of Love prayer box with placed in the narthex with prayer cards twice annually during Advent and Lent, enabling the COL Prayer Ministry to pray for your marriage or that of someone you know “by name.”  The COL Prayer Ministry prays the Chaplet of Diving Mercy for these couples during the entire seasons of Advent and Lent.

Date Night, the first Covenant of Love program at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, is a monthly gathering to assist and support couples in living out their vocation.  By gathering for fellowship, learning, and prayer at these monthly “Date Nights,” Couples of Faith creates that vibrant and positive community of married couples that is part of the Covenant of Love’s mission.

Membership Requirements:      All married couples of the parish are invited to participate
