Finance Council
The Santa Cruz Finance Council is the principal consultative body for the business affairs of the parish. Canon Law requires that each parish have a Finance Council.
The Council recommends to the Pastor the most prudent and effective manner of providing the fiscal, capital, and human resources for the pastoral mission of the parish. Specifically, the Finance Council seeks:
- To support and maintain a strong financial structure at the parish;
- To advance parish knowledge of the financial needs of the parish;
- To advise the Pastor in preparation of financial reports, budgets and reconciliation of Parish checking, savings and credit accounts.
Membership Requirements: Appointed by the Pastor
Must be Catholic and active members of the parish in good standing
Meeting Schedule: Quarterly: normally in January, April, July and October
