Registration for religious education classes, Pre-K through 8 th grade, begins Monday, July 30, 2007.
In order to register your child for RE classes, you must be a registered parishioner at Santa Cruz. If your child still needs to be baptized, you must provide a birth certificate issued by the state and not by the hospital at the time of registration. If your child still needs to receive first communion, you must provide a copy of your child’s baptismal certificate at the time of registration.
All registration forms must be returned to the RE Office in order to be formally accepted into the program. For more information, please call Bessie Castillo or JoAnna Rubio at 312-2520 x137 or x138.
If your child is needing a sacrament the following is needed for registration:

We are still needing Catechists and Aides for the following grade levels:
Catechists: Pre-K4, 1 st Yr. Communion (2 nd/3 rd Graders), 3 rd & 4 th Grades
Aides: 6 th, 7 th & 8 th Grades
Catechists: Pre-K4, 1 st Yr. Communion, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th and 6 th Grades
Aides: Pre-K4, Kinder, 1 st Grade, 1 st Yr. Communion, 3 rd, 5 th, 6 th, 7 th and 8 th Grades
Catechists: Pre-K4, 5 th & 6 th Grade
Aides: Pre-K4, Kinder, 1 st Yr. Communion, 3 rd, 4 th, 5 th, 6 th, 7 th and 8 th grades.
CATECHISTS AND AIDES MEETING – We will have our first Catechists and Aides meeting on Wednesday, August 22 nd at 6:00 pm in the Parish Activity Center (Hall). We will introduce our new curriculum. Distribute Catechists guides, RE Calendars and discuss expectations, changes and special events for the year. Please contact the Religious Education Office for more information. We need all Catechist and Aides to attend. Please mark you calendars and plan on attending!!
