WHITE ELEPHANT SALE – The Santa Cruz Altar Society is sponsoring a White Elephant Garage Sale on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 824 Main Street—Barbara Pecuch’s office, located next to the New Stage Coach Park here in Buda. Start sorting through your unwanted treasures, because we could use your items to make our sale a success! Please: no clothing, shoes, electrical appliances, or large pieces of furniture. Flyers and additional information will be available in the next few weeks. Join all the Santa Cruz Community and participate in the $2 Million Dollar Challenge Campaign. Over the next nine months months Santa Cruz will be aiming to raise $2 Million dollars to fund our growth here at Santa Cruz. We ask each parishioner to participate in this campaign which is matched dollar for dollar by our generous benefactor. Please, pray for our benefactor and the success of the campaign everyday. Santa Cruz Catholic School will host its open house on Sunday, October 26, 2008, from 12:30 – 2:00 PM. SCCS still has openings for the 2008 – 2009 academic year and is accepting applications for the 2009 – 2010 school year. We welcome students in grades Pre-K – 3rd grade. We will be adding the Fourth Grade next fall. SCCS offers a well-rounded education featuring faith-based curriculum, law student/teacher ratios, a convenient location, a warm, nurturing environment, and a family-based atmosphere.
